Teletranfer New Option in Telegram
Project: Challenge – Designing a New Money Transfer Feature in Telegram
Challenge: Design a new feature within Telegram that enables users to make quick and secure money transfers through chat, enhancing the experience while ensuring simplicity.
Design Methodology: I applied user-centered methodologies, including Design Thinking and UX Research, to identify user needs and concerns when integrating money transfers into a messaging app.
Research and Empathy: I conducted interviews and behavior analysis to understand users’ expectations regarding security and speed in-chat transfers. This highlighted the importance of minimizing complexity while providing security and accessibility at each step.
Problem Definition: I identified critical points, such as the need for clear confirmations with each transfer, a streamlined flow to reduce friction, and an interface that blends the new feature seamlessly with Telegram’s existing style.
Ideation and Prototyping: I designed low and high-fidelity prototypes, testing different flow options, from an in-chat transfer button to a quick contextual menu. Each design prioritized security, with clear validation steps and integrated confirmation reminders.
Testing and Iteration: I validated the prototypes with real users, iterating to achieve an optimized, secure, distraction-free flow that enables transfers in three simple steps: initiate the transfer, verify details, and confirm.
Outcome: The final design proposal is intuitive and fast, achieving seamless integration within the Telegram chat interface, allowing users to make transfers smoothly and securely without leaving the conversation.
